The Bush School has just completed a Memorandum of Agreement
with U.S. Pacific Command (USPACOM) affording our students the opportunity to
apply for PACOM's extensive 2012 summer internship program opportunities.
** If
you are interested in applying for any of these positions, please inform Matt
Upton or Michael Cochran ASAP - PACOM will begin interviewing candidates this
week, but has agreed to extend the deadline for qualified Bush School students.
USPACOM Headquarters is located in Honolulu, HI and is one
of six U.S. Geographic Combatant Commands. The command's strategic
guidance includes five focus areas: 1) strengthening alliances and
partnerships, 2) maturing the U.S.-China military-to-military relationship, 3)
developing the U.S.-India strategic partnership, 4) preparing to respond to
Korean Peninsula contingencies, and 5) countering transnational threats.
